Just 25-minutes west of LaCrosse, WI, marks the starting point for our scenic day trip along the Root River.  This paved rail-to-trail boasts an array of views and features, but most notably, a drive-thru window for pie.  Yes, delicious pie!  
 
Please meet us at the Minnesota Nature Center Trailhead located at:
215 W Plum St,  Houston, MN 55943   
 
* Registration cut off date is June 4th, 2022
- Maximum of 20 registered riders
- Minimum of 10 registered riders for the event to take place
- Either ride distance of fewer than five riders will default to a single group at the 62-mile (metric century) distance. 
 
Rider Cost $75 – Includes:
1 PABS water bottle
Coffee at Jesse Street Java
Lunch at Pedal Pushers Café
Halfway Point Beer
A slice of Aroma Pie
Guided tour
Trailside maintenance

  • Bicycles must be in working order before riding

  • At Least one spare tube
    • 	
  • Follow all rules of the road and PABS Ride Guidelines
    • 	
  • Leave no trace
    • 	
  • Proper clothing for the forecasted weather
    • 	
  • Helmet & Light-set
    • 	
  • Signed release of liability, waiver, and assumption of risk form
    •

12:00 Noon Lanesboro, MN Arrival – Lunch Stop @ Pedal Pushers Café (1hr)

2:00 PM Preston, MN Arrival – Halfway Point Beer Stop – Trout City Brewing (30min)
               132 St Anthony St S, Preston, MN
2:30 PM Halfway Point Departure
4:00 PM – Whalan, MN Arrival – Desert on the trail @ Aroma Pie Shoppe (20min)
